The main opposition UNP said today that it is fully backing the university lecturers who are currently engaged in a strike action. The UNP has appointed a committee comprising of UNP MPs Kabir Hashim, Lakshman Kiriella, Wijedasa Rajapaksa and Akila Viraj to hold discussions with the Federation of University Teachers Association (FUTA).
