Robbery is a robbery who ever does it. University students think they are above the law of the land. It is really sad that some try to justify her act and put the blame on the government .

It is high time to think about society. Poor girl tried her best for a good thing but what she did was wrong. All big people do all wrong things but they never get caught. So forgive her after reprimanding. Think of her future and release her after punishing lightly. People who are able should help her to release her mortgage.

Justice of the Peace Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:38 AM

Feel Sorry for her. No matter what.

    DireStraits Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:40 AM

That is no excuse to terrorise people and behave like animals. Natural justice should prevail as done with any other thief. We should be expecting much more from a university student who after all are getting their education at the expense of the tax payer. There are much worse off who are honest enough to do the right thing.

Grammar Boy Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:38 AM

Indeed, to say the word for a third time: PATHETIC.

    willows Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:40 AM

Shamih Sikthy Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:34 AM

It is really hard to make a decision in this case. Whatever the situation, mistake is the mistake. If a university student do like these things, then what about other ordinary people? There are many ways to recover such an amount.

    Signs of prosperity

    kaputakukula Wednesday, 18 April 2012 10:12 AM

This is an example that in a state of financial pressure one saughts to immoral activities no matter how much educated. The recent statistics that bank deposits (saving) has dropped and pawning has increased is another sure sign that this kind of stealing, snatching, forgery, cheating, duplicity culminating into serious offences to come due to the ever increasing hardships for survival in this country.
