A uni-flow traffic rehearsal would be initiated from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on Friday (Dec. 13) along Duplication Road (R.A. De Mel Mw) and Galle Road, the Police said.

Vehicles leaving from Colombo should drive through the Duplication Road passing Dickman’s Road Junction towards Hindu College and enter to the Galle Road via Dharmarama Road.

As at present the vehicles turn at the Dickman’s Road Junction to enter the Galle Road.

Meanwhile, the uni-flow along the Galle Road would start near the Savoy Theater in Wellawatta.

Motorists traveling on these roads during the time period are requested to follow the one way traffic plan.

Duplication road must be extended up to Ratmalana immediately. This is long overdue and it will go long way alleviate traffic congestion on Galle road.

Really don't see any point in this. Savoy up to Millagiriya junction is a stretch where there is comparatively less traffic in the morning.

Smooth flow of traffic can be achieved only with drivers who follow road rules, if this is not there, forget the rest.

Please extend the marine drive from kolpetty to moratuwa immediately.... this would reduce the huge traffic in dehiwala,mt.lav areas.... via DM Android App

The bridge near St.Peters College is too narrow...It will cause bottleneck. As will the school traffic to SPC and MLC parked on Duplication Road.... The alternative is making Marine Drive one way !!!!

HOW COME THE MARINE DRIVE IS NOT BEING UTILIZED RIGHT UP TO DEHIWELA
