On a request made by the Convener of the Inter University Student’s Federation (IUSF) Udul Premarathne, his Counsel Yoosuf Nazar filed a motion for an earlier date for his bail application which was scheduled for January 24, because Premarathne has to attend a conference organized by the World University Student’s Organization in South Africa.

In reply, Colombo high court judged Deepali Wijesundara fixed the date for December 07. (TFT)

But why? His bail application is not to sit his exams but to attend a conference. What is he again? A student or a trade union leader?

Udul , I Feel sorry not for you but for the poor Sri Lankan that make rubbish comment on you . You led the protest against opening private universities in this country. There is , even now, a private medical college at Malabe , and roti and sambol eating poor of this country think that they can afford 6.5 million rupees to send their children there to make them doctors!

Please do not take him out. Can some one find out a method to keep him permanently in a prison cage? Parents of undergraduates will make cash awards to the person who does that.

having private universities here will keep our money and best students from going out of the country, cant you understand that ? people now have the choice to study at Local govt uni, local private uni or overseas uni. people like UDUL should learn to appreciate the free education and use it for their benefit not ABUSE it for their political benefits.

The IUSF can't find anyone else to send for this? What a joke. At least come up with a believable excuse.
