Two Lankans die in Italy

Two Sri Lankans living in Italy have been killed in a fatal car accident in the city of Modena, Italy. The deceased persons were traveling with four others, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a parked water Bowser. The other four passengers are in critical condition.

The deceased persons are Disna Helen Sanjeewani (29) of Wennapuwa and Ajith Ranjan Suresh Fernando (34) of Lunuwila. Their relatives in Italy have made arrangements for the bodies to be transported to Sri Lanka on the 3rd or 4th of October. (Trixie Conston)
