there are millions of war materials spread in the north. No one should pick those objects but report the forces.
No point balming the gov or SF.
stupid comments given by all you guys.

So, they were busy "clearing mines" but couldn't see a bomb, lying around, that was so easily seen by school kids. Tragic indeed. Jaffna has been in the control of SLA since 1995. Can someone explain how this bomb was left lying around in a school compound where it is known that a large number of children come together?

Like it or not, many more residents in the once LTTE cotrolled areas will die, or be maimed, by unexploded mines that were laid during the recently ended conflict. I dare say that this will go on for the next 5 to 10 years.

Now almost nine months since the end of the war. People cannot live a normal life and the war materials are still to be cleared - innocent children have to give up their lives???

Story is very simple. General's elite ex soldiers are going to over throw the present government. Soon you will recieve a vedio clip stating that if they do not release their hero they will start blowing up places in Colombo. Or better they will blow few places in Colombo and South and the GOTA will say this was all planed by the General. These are all done by the government in order to make their story stand when they meet the Senior Hamudurows.

How did you come to this conclusion of finding a ball like thing by students and throwing it has caused the blast. then what is the inquiry that is going on for what caused the blasts. There should be a limit to lying by this Govt. They simply dont know what they are doing. Now they will say GF's supporters did it to cause problems. Or Gen. ge kattiyage kumantranayak jathyanthara blawegath ekka ekathuwela anduwa apahasuthawayata pathkaranna. Before the Gen.Election Propaganda started even they are trying to scare the Tamil Public.

Govt voters are not there only SF's voters majority. so logically they have to answer - maybe JVP/UNP can take the responsibility
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:26 AM
I thought LTTE is fully washed off according to Govt. If so whoe is responsible for this.
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:24 AM
No wonder. Army and police have new duties rather than protecting national security. Their new duties include searching places, arresting opponents, coming to court asking permission to stop protests, speaking to media, etc.
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:24 AM
NOW NO LTTE FOR BLAME.. SO BLAME WILL BE SF????/HE HE HE NEXT TARGET.
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:21 AM
what?????????????
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:21 AM
Now who is responsible for this ??. Will the Govt blame SF ?
Monday, 15 February 2010 11:21 AM
Gov, take the responsibility without telling it's LTTE.
