President Sirisena thought D.M. Jayaratne was not fit to be the Prime Minister six months ago. He has changed his stance and now thinks that the same D.M.Jayaratne who is 6 months older now than then is fit to be his adviser. It seems President Sirisena is preoccupied with the problems he is facing within the SLFP by becoming the President of that party without genuine support from the corrupt SLFPers. He has no time to concentrate on the matters affecting the country.

Seeking advice from older persons is OK, but persons of questionable integrity should be avoided. My3 doing a tricky tight rope walking act and people should understand this. However, he is trillion times better than crooked political thugs.

Both of them must retire from the political arena and stay at home or do they want state funerals from our money.I wonder what advice they can give and what advice P resident is seeking from them.Is this a coup against the MR party.

    Sikuru Thursday, 11 June 2015 02:49 PM

Thank god the PM was ranil imagine what would have been if the PM was also from the SLFP? The country would be chaos

King George Friday, 12 June 2015 08:03 AM

According to one of the Advisers appointed said he was asked to help President to reorganize the SLFP. This shows that the state funds are being spent on political work. What has the UNP, JVP or opposition got to say on this?
