This is the second such incident in the last few days. Hope the Govt. will provide the rural people with proper water facilities. Beautifying Colombo with high rise buildings is not all that important.

If only schools offered school-swimming these horrible accidents would be something of the past. But some MPs prefer to spend money from state coffers on themselves, and some (former) president liked to spend it on travelling to Rome, and what not.

My heart goes out to them. I am sure when one sister was struggling in the water the other sister would have gone instantly after her to rescue her. RIP, my sisters
