TRC Director General resigns

The Director General of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) in Sri Lanka Priyantha Kariyapperuma tendered his resignation this morning, Secretary to President Lalith Weeratunga told Daily Mirror online.

When asked by Daily Mirror online if Mr. Kariyapperuma had given a reason behind his move to resign the Secretary to President said he was not aware of the reason and all he knew was that the resignation was handed over this morning.
