It's a good idea an will reduce wastage and damages of vegetable and fruits. But, how can poor farmers buy material? They are making losses and new rule is another burden . Some times the farmers will give up farming.

The Governemt should introduce some facilities for the farmers to buy materials in an easy payment scheme etc.

This law is a must to protect our food resources. 30-40% of fruits and vegetables go as a waste on average means we loose our consumption while pay for the production. Grace period is good but should not drop the law because of illiterate political minds. IPHT has a scheme to sell those at a half price for some years.
