The Officer –In- Charge of the Kolonnawa Police IP S. Samaranayake has been transferred to the field Police headquarters with immediate effect. Speaking to the Daily Mirror Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that the transfer had no connection with the attempted abduction of the Chairman of the Kolonnawa Urban Council during the weekend.

Is this the first time. Whenever something happens and there is accusation of Govt. authorities involvement the senior Police Officer is transferred. We have become a laughing stock before the entire world. No wonder we are facing a difficult situation in Geneva.
