Tension in Parliament

A tense situation prevailed in Parliament short while ago after Government MP’s attempted to manhandle UNP MP Jayalath Jayawardane, alleging that he led the protest against President Mahinda Rajapaksa in the UK.

Following the situation Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa suspended the sittings for ten minutes. (KB/YP)
