A A A

A tense situation prevailed outside the Mahiyangana Pradeshiya Sabha this morning, when Ven. Watareka Vijitha Thera visited the Sabha where he was to address the gathering.

The Thera had to leave the Sabha complex in a hurry after he attended the session.

Journalists were prevented from reporting the session and therefore what transpired within the Sabha is yet unclear. (Pix and video by Ranjith Karunaweera )
