The Government Nursing Officers Association (GNOA) has decided to continue its trade union action as this evening's meeting with Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena ended without any consensus being reached, trade unions said

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, GNOA Chairman Saman Ratnapriya said although the Minister was accompanied by other officials of the ministry, they were unable to make any favourable response to the association's demands. He said they will launch an Islandwide strike starting from 7 am tomorrow. (Sanath Desmond)

First asking for midwife training to make a 3 year training 4 years to get a similar salary to a dental doc.then better ask for minor staff training to get a 5 year training & ask for doctors salary..lol via DM Android App
