Swedish national arrested in Wennappuwa

A Swedish national was arrested yesterday at Dummaladeniya in Wennappuwa for staying in the country without having valid visa, the Police said.

They said the suspect would be produced in the Marawila Magistrate’s Court today for violating immigration laws.

The Wennappuwa Police are investigating.

    Just deport him immediately with out wasting the time and money going to courts and giving this guy free food and accomodation.

    Is that a big deal to Police for a visa overstay? Let him pay for the visa extension and leave him alone.
