Swaraj rebukes Jayalalitha

The opposition leader of India Sushma Swaraj rebuked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha Jeyaram over the latter’s remarks about the visit by the Indian parliamentary delegation to Sri Lanka

When asked by journalists to comment on this remark, Ms. Swaraj said, “I told Jayalalitha. This is not a picnic or a junket trip. We started work at 6.30am and ended by 11.30 pm everyday,” she said.

Also, she declined to comment remarks by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Karunanidhi calling for a separate state for Tamils in Sri Lanka.

“You ask Karunanidhi. We cannot comment on it,” she said. (Kelum Bandara)

Compare Singapore, Malaysia etc where as a percentage the tamils are a bigger community than in SL. If you ask a Tamil in SIN Or Malaysia about their ethnicity they ignore the question and say they are either Singaporeans or Malaysians. In singapore Tamils speak Mandarin, in Malaysia the tamils speak fluent Malay. It is dangerous to advocate these sentiments. The answer should be not states within, but equality where every one feels like SRI LANKANS.

Madam, we as Sri Lankans salute you as you are a representative of majority Indians.
We understand that India is a great nation, but the racists like Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha, Vaiko and all in Tamilnadu will go to the hell after their death for telling lies and trying to depend on the bloodshed of the humans.
Why do those racists play politics at the cost of Sri Lankans?
We wish both our nations will share the cultural and religious relationships without bowing down to terrorists in Tamilnadu for thousands more years.
