Judge's brain should be checked to see if its working properly. In some countries its the electric chair for murder and here its only a penalty of Rs2,500/-.

This is ridiculous, two year prison sentence and a fine for killing their father, unbelievable. They should have got life in prison if nothing else. That's the justice system for you. Real criminals are out on the streets while truly innocent people are suffering for things they did not do.

shouldn't we check the number of bank accounts and amounts of FX in bank accounts among some these judicial officers?

Why is it so light punishment for such gruesome violence? No wonder the crimes are increasing in this country.
Chams Wednesday, 07 November 2012 01:38 PM
What a farce? Two years imprisonment and Rs.2500 fine for homicide. This is the value of a father in our country today.
Judiciary should be responsible for its own downfall and that of the society.
Mason Wednesday, 07 November 2012 01:35 PM
After all a Sri Lankan father's life is worth only Rs.2500/- x 2. Are fathers so cheap??
Alistaire Brown Wednesday, 07 November 2012 01:20 PM
