Accident kills SLBC director Hassan

A Director and announcer of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Nurania Hassan was killed this morning while five others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a lorry at Rambewa, according to the Police.

The group of six media personnel was travelling to Jaffna when their van hit with the stationary lorry around 4.30 am. Two of the injured are in critical condition while the other three have been admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital. (Sanath Desmond)
