IIFA stars begin to arrive

Popular Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta and Ritesh Deshmukh arrived in the country today to take part in the IIFA events which will be held in the country from Thursday, an official at the Sri Lanka Tourist Board said.

Boman Irani, Lara Dutta and Ritesh Deshmukh will host the IIFA award ceremony which will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Several leading Bollywood actors, actresses and music artistes are expected to arrive in the country tomorrow and Thursday along with hundreds of Indian tourists.

However noted stars such as Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Aishwariya Rai and Abishek Bachchan will not attend the IIFA events in Colombo. (Daily Mirror online)
