We are ready to kill 1000s of Prabhakarans to save innocent people of this country while terror friends and masters of the terrorists suffer as they do now.

Why should normal travelers be punished just because one person danced the merry jig?

Luckily this didn't happen when our king was in London. Otherwise he would have been in jail in London during this cold winter.

    cracko Sunday, 19 December 2010 03:38 PM

After the London shame for our leader no wonder they have lots of snow and bad weather. SrI Lankan airline should stop flights to London.

Countries with more freezing conditions do react more promptly in these conditions. but in uk no dody to take decisions or responsibilities. it's total chaos. if a tsunami hits uk, i am dead sure they will not recover for years. it is such a shit country!

These cancellations have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Sri Lankan Airlines: there are nasty winter storms in the U.K. and in Europe. Many airports are closed due to snow and ice. Why don't you stupid people read other news than just what you read here?

    wijendra Sunday, 19 December 2010 05:15 PM

It happens everywhere in the world. If the destination airport is closed, flight does not take off. If flight is already in air it either turned back or land at alternate airport.

Butaanis Wathee Sunday, 19 December 2010 05:22 PM

Nature has punished the Britain for harbouring tiger terrorists. LTTE terrorists were allowed to protest with Tiger Flags at the Heathrow Air Port.
Few months ago, most of the European airports were closed due to volcanic ash. At that time European parliament made some unnecessary comments regarding Sri Lanka. Gods have given due punishment for them whenever they acted against Sri Lanka.

UK is a failed state. all the other european countries laugh on UK. uk will never learn. UK should grow up soon and should learn how to manage disasters from its neighbouring countries.
