Sri Lankan flights delayed

Sri Lankan Airline flights to London had been indefinitely delayed due to the closure of Heathrow Airport in London after heavy snowing, officials said. Passengers were requested to call 0197335555 or 0197 332377 of Sri Lankan Airlines flight operations unit, before they leave for the Bandaranaike International Airport. (YP)

Countries with more freezing conditions do react more promptly in these conditions. but in uk no dody to take decisions or responsibilities. it's total chaos. if a tsunami hits uk, i am dead sure they will not recover for years. it is such a shit country!

It happens everywhere in the world. If the destination airport is closed, flight does not take off. If flight is already in air it either turned back or land at alternate airport.

These cancellations have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Sri Lankan Airlines: there are nasty winter storms in the U.K. and in Europe. Many airports are closed due to snow and ice. Why don't you stupid people read other news than just what you read here?
