First of all He does not deserve to be in custody. therfore you get good medical treatment or not is immaterial. This is to give some good publicity to the crooked government and the Army.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 06:04 PM

be careful Gen. They might give you poson even.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 06:04 PM

No special medical team would have been given if no election was scheduled ahead of months. Thats the holy truth.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 06:05 PM

    it is a humane activity.

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 02:02 AM

The army still is going to be behind the General

    Friday, 12 February 2010 05:51 PM

In a democracy this is the right of anyone taken into custody who needs medical care. This is not a humanitarian effort by the army commander, why not allow Gen S.F's own physician to attent to him?

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 02:54 AM

That's why I say Sri Lanka would take at least thousand years to become adeveloped country

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 03:34 AM

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 04:27 AM

If he IS a gentleman, why did he drag in SF like an animal without framing the charges first???

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 04:28 AM

Do you have anything to say about the way he was dragged in like an animal? Was that a professional job?

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 04:58 AM

Why not simply publish the charge sheet, then SF can be at home.

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 05:10 AM

Thanks to media ,opposition ,Suprime Court UN, India ,USA, EU , etc otherwise by now he would have been dead

    Saturday, 13 February 2010 05:10 AM

Why not allow General Fonseka's own doctor to be at hand?

    Friday, 19 February 2010 04:27 AM

    You sound great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:09 PM

They do all because they can not face the internation for the very ugly thing all they did for SF . We curse for them (MR & crowd )

    Friday, 12 February 2010 02:16 PM

    Whatever!!

    Friday, 12 February 2010 02:25 PM

Isnt this great. SF is getting much better facilities in custody (security, medicine, help) than when he was just a civilian!!!
Why complain , just sit back and enjoy the ride :)

    Friday, 12 February 2010 02:32 PM

I am very proud of our Army, being so professional.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 02:49 PM

    Good move.
It is the usual that people who have been in custody have medical emergencies and gets into a private hospital. I am sure the Army has their own team of doctors in the army.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 02:57 PM

Have you judged him to be a traitor? Would you have said that 7 months ago?!

    Friday, 12 February 2010 03:01 PM

what took them so long? hope they dont poison him

    Friday, 12 February 2010 03:04 PM

After 5 days??? SF is stronger than you think jagga. He will survive.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 03:12 PM

yeah.... thats coz they like their former commander who is a real hero unlike certain cardboard heros!!

    Friday, 12 February 2010 03:30 PM

Let God grant wisdom and unselfish attitude for every officer and gentlemen of ARMY to wait for his glorified position.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 03:30 PM

observer, good idea but why don't you stay in detention they will give you food, cloth and security.

    Good move.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:17 PM

My concern is the man Approved he is a slave of dictator. is there any hope?

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:28 PM

Sarath Fonseka has to be released. He does not need the army to look after him. This is a eye wash.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:31 PM

Peter when our General was in the service, Army kept its reputation, but now it is not SriLankan Army, but Mahinda Rajapakshe's brutal Army. Even the Police is Mahinda's Police.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:40 PM

MR is a great Champion? To take revenge from the opponents
Alipola are you living in this Earth?

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:43 PM

Even in Welikada a prisoner is entitled to medical attention 24 hours a day starting immediately after incarceration. So I am surprised why SF's wife had to write to them to request attention.

    Friday, 12 February 2010 04:54 PM
