Soldiers injured in accident

At least 13 soldiers were injured following a road accident in the Kekirawa area and have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment but police said they had no further details of the incident.

According to reports, the soldiers were injured when the truck they were traveling in toppled this morning in the Kekirawa area in Anuradhapura.

However when contacted by Daily Mirror online, neither the Kekirawa Police nor the Police Media Spokesperson had any clear details of the incident, number or severity of the injured.
