SLFP supporter hospitalised following shoot-out

A supporter of an SLFP candidate was hospitalised following a shoot-out in Peradeniya early this morning, police said.

Investigations revealed that he was shot near the residence of UPFA Central Provincial Council candidate Jagath Chandraratna.

He was admitted to the Kandy Hospital.
