The plan of the National government is to rule forever by the UNP to collar the largest party the SLFP.As a memebe of the SLFP proposed by Madam Bandaranaike and seconded by Ratnsiri Wickramamnaika, I wholly protest this national Government trick.SLFP can always win single handed without the UNPMaitripala Sirisena power hungry, joined forces with the defeatred UNP ans the opposition to become The President of Sri Lanka and made the whole cabinet majority with UNP people and some non members of parliment.If the SLFP goes alone the next Parlimentary election can be theirs.Sirisena came to power on many allegations of corruption and family bandism ( nepotism) Well, corruotion during the post 1977 UNP was greater

Sirisena is now compelled reluctantly to go for a national govt as he could not achieve the expected crossovers from the SLFP before or after the election. He is now leading a minority UNP govt: as the SLFP leader, though he contested from a a different party against the incumbent president of the country who was also the president of the SLFP. He must now realize that it is the expectations of the SLFPers to form their own govt after the next General election. He must put his effort behind the party. He is morally and politically obliged to do so. He cannot go for a national govt just to satisfy the UNP his temporary allies. Remember over 5 mln SLFP votes are with MR which were against MS and UNP.
