Sleeping robber caught with the booty

A robber who was found asleep inside a boutique in Mahiyangana was caught with the bag of stolen goods such as soap, milk powder, and biscuits.

The shopkeeper having found him asleep in the morning had informed the police who arrested the suspect.

The suspect had been convicted of similar offences on several occasions.(Text and Pix by Ranjith Karunaweera)
