Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage today announced the appointment of the new members of the Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Board. The members include Upali Dharmadasa as the new Chairman, P. Shaffter (Secretary), Nimal Perera (Treasure) and Sidath Wettamuni.

The Minister also announced that elections for the SLC board will be held in the first quarter of 2012. (Daily Mirror online)

P. Shaffter & Sidath Wettamuni are the best of choices. They know to keep their heads above the shoulders. As per Upali, he was one of the person who was instrumental in ousting of Ana Punchihewa with Thilanga. Hope he is a change man. Must try to retain Aravinda, he has his talents BUT politics screwed them.
