Agreed all the LTTE supported should be held responsible for financing a terrorist group. The West has a duty arrest those raising funds overseas in support of terrorism.

Pillay is an ethnic tamil from tamil nadu whose ancestors were taken by the British for slave labour in Africa. So she would be biased against Sri Lanka and the Sinhalese. Where the heck was she when the LTTE was massacring innocent civilians for 30 years? Not a sound out of her then. All of a sudden when the LTTE was annihilated she found her voice to object. Do not invite her to sri lanka we do not need people like her to tell us what we should do and should not do.

There are worse things happening all over the world, why single out Sri Lanka? There is peace after 30 years of turmoil. If the tamils living abroad are not happy its their own fault as second class colored citizens in 'white' countries. You or your children will never be really accepted in the west. YOu will always be foreigners in the West. You may live in a house with indoor plumbing and own a car, but that is all. You are a colored family and not really wanted in the West

Looks like HC has given an ultimatum till March 2014. MR and his crooks still have some time. Looks like MR is already crying and talking about policing by some states and so on...
Truth will win ultimately..

He is simply doing laundry work for this criminal regime. Pity that educated people have to lose their ethics and principles in this manner.

This is just like the rhetoric that followed the appointment of UN Secretary General's panel and later sending a secret delegation to meet and plead.
It is a pity the government never ever learns.

Disproportionate killing was when your pals the LTTE was alive. Where actions were taken by the international community, in Iraq and Afghanistan and Palestine, thousands get killed everyday. Sri Lanka is a blessed place with no LTTE, no diaspora and no international actors.

Yes they have done a lot, you have to go to the country and see if you are so keen than typing from a land where you are given refuge for economic reasons.

Did anyone see the following part written between the lines:
It is inevitable that the ruling family has to consolidate their political existence by some means. They cannot afford to irk the traditional southerners by treating the North fairly.

Ravinath is the best in business and we all should be very proud of his duties to undivided SL.

Mandates aquired or ammedded for synthetic agendas, always a threat to freedom and security of the people whether it is by UN or SL; gradually clearing the way towards separatism.
