I'm astonished to see how negative people can be. Yes I agree SL has a long way to go to become a true investor friendly nation. But please give credit where it’s due. We need to applaud even the small steps we as a nation are taking towards development rather than being pessimistic and negative about each and everything. I guess that's just the Sri Lankan way - Be as negative as can be but expect the sun and the moon in terms of development. I think we all need to be optimistic and positive about the future of our country. Only then can we work tirelessly towards development, while appreciating and recognizing the little milestones we reach along the way. However if I may qualify my statement above, by being optimistic does not mean we need to turn a blind eye to the political corruption and mismanagement that’s happening right now. We need to continue to voice our displeasure and pressure the government to do the right thing while also commending their good work.
