UNP must change

Parliamentarian Sarath Fonseka, speaking at a press briefing at the Parliament complex a short while ago, said that the UNP needs to change its policies if the DNA is to consider joining forces with the UNP.

Fonseka also said that he had anticipated the recent ruling by the Court Martial against him and is expecting to end up in jail any time soon.

Considerable faith is placed on SP to lead the UNP in the future. One only has to look back at his father's tenure and wonder why. Over 60,000 lost their lives, endless numbers who opposed him dissappeared, Prominent cabinet ministers bought farms in Australia, a levy was paid on every bag of cement imported and then it goes on and on.

DNA not invited by UNP,so why is Fonseka trying to latch on? This poll has a bad mouth and any poll with a bad mouth is a liability not a asset as Fonseka,wife and daughter think.
