The Supreme Court today fixed the case filed by former Army Commander and DNA leader Sarath Fonseka challenging the order of the Court of Appeal which dismissed his application against the Second Court Martial hearing for December 3.

The Supreme Court bench comprising Chief Justice Asoka de Silva, Justices K. Sripavan and S.I. Imam heard the application for Special Leave to Appeal.

Can anybody expect justice in a country where a Minister tie a state officer in front of police and public to a tree and it is justified, and the minister was later re-instated?
