Seven arrested for rape

Following investigations by the Colombo Crimes Intelligence Unit, 7 men have been arrested in Maradana over charges of multiple rape of two young boys aged 11 and 14.

According to the Police Media Unit, a complaint had been lodged at the Maradana police on Wednesday, and the men arrested the following day. The men had been produced in court and will be in remand until June 16.

They will get their treatment in the remand prison by the inside Kangaroo court, so they will realise what the two small boys suffered. Hope the Honourable Judge wont be lenient on them and award the maximum punishment on all seven. This should be a lesson to others too.

Sri Lanka is not Saudi for a rapist to be shot. These 7 rapists have not been guided by their religious leaders properly hence these types of behaviour by them. Good they were arrested. The best punishment is that they should all be parared on a busy street with boards around their necks giving the reasons. This will be a deterrent for others.
