It is a mockery of justice that S.B Dissanayake clearly identified. One day there will be justice in this country and it will not be blind. It is a shame that people with such power leave a legacy of shame for their families to carry forward.

Can there ever be another verdict? Appointment of all the judges of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal is done by the president.

    Hema Friday, 29 October 2010 08:39 AM

People who want to insult SC should leave the country and find a country of their choice if they cannot accept the judiciary. This applies to the politicans and the civilians!

One has to support one's masters.

The case was dismissed on technicalities, not on the facts. Says a lot for the quality of justice in this country.

    Ganga772 Friday, 29 October 2010 05:53 AM

Court could reject. But let's see how many comments will be there in Daily Mirror Comments page in favour of SF. I know for sure that it clearly indicates who could have been the present President.
