SC decision on Divi Neguma Bill conveyed to President

The Supreme Court decision relating to the petitions filed in connection with the draft of the Divi Neguma Bill was conveyed to President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa yesterday.

Informed sources said that the Supreme Court decision would be announced by the Speaker at the parliamentary sessions scheduled to be held on November 6. Eleven petitions were filed in the Supreme Court for and against this Bill. (Ajantha Kumara Agalakada and Ranjan Katugampola)
