UNP has to come up with an innovative strategic plan to liberate General SF. old-fashioned one man shows such as sathyagraha will not serve the purpose. Please, think innovatively and get the support of the civil society movements including other opposition parties.

Please no party or individual agenda we have to come-out as a common opposition.
Party & individual agenda of others only got SF to prison.

    chamara Tuesday, 05 October 2010 06:15 AM

Here we go another Satyagraha - you had one in front of UN, another on top of an iron structure at viharamahadevi park now at the independence square.

What's the bet this would not serve the purpose not because there's anything wrong with the cause but because protests on this nature have lost its meaning thanks to weerawansa.

    Bernard Tuesday, 05 October 2010 10:43 AM

WE know what Karuna did, we know what Pilayan did and KP as well but what is on the charge sheet for the Gen. Fonseka

Monkey Mask Tuesday, 05 October 2010 07:28 AM

most of the followers of SF don't realize the true face of UNP and JVP, once I read on a Chennai daily, a conversation RW had with the editor of the news paper on his way back from Delhi to Colombo, there he had strongly criticized the behavior of SF for the amusement of editor , RW just using this to avoid party issues but these poor fellows don't realize it ...!!!!

    Ranjan Tuesday, 05 October 2010 07:30 AM

This is no wastage of time. We have to everything to save the man who saved our mother land from terrorists. For those who have forgotten I like to remind you , that about 15 months ago there was a man called Prabhakaran who was asking 1/3rds of the country for him and hsi fellowers. It was this general who saved whole Sri lanka from the terrorists.

Each individual is responsible for doing something to save our four star general.
