As the Presidential race heated up, former Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva had visited Jaffna yesterday and had stayed overnight at the Navy House, the Kankesanthurai Naval Camp, sources said.
Sources said that Mr. Silva had visited Jaffna with a friend and that the Navy House had been reportedly booked under Mr. Silva’s friend’s name.
Mr. Silva is one of the main persons, who initiated bringing in the common candidate against President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the forthcoming Presidential Election.
