After the Power play time out comes

    Thursday, 08 April 2010 07:23 AM

IT IS YOU WHO HAS POLITICISED CRICKET. So sad for the game of cricket in Sri Lanka.

    Thursday, 08 April 2010 07:22 AM

Before presidential intervention you had both blue and green supporters behind you. Now you are only running on presidential powers - not on your own manpower!

    Thursday, 08 April 2010 12:02 AM

Sanath will lose the election and he can continue playing cricket for both the IPL and Sri Lanka.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 11:53 PM

    What a shame.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 11:17 PM

How come a politician can play cricket? This privilege is only for ruling party members? Come-on Lokuge, shame on you, as Sports minister.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:54 PM

Great sportsmen retire at their peak and that's why they are legends; not garbage for the trash-bin.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:51 PM

Nobody expected this from you, Sanath! All the respect you had gained, has now gone into the drain, with the poor timing of this 'shot' of yours!

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:36 PM

It's too early for Sanath to have joined politics! Should have waited some more ...

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:09 PM

Can't you gracefully retire from Sri Lankan cricket? This is your 'thing' - doing politics ... we don't care.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:30 PM

If he doesn't have time to cast his own vote, will he have enough time to serve the public? I doubt it ... good luck to Sri Lanka!

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 07:57 PM

What a joke ... Sanath has been dropped from the Mumbai Team over a while now ...

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:06 AM

Of course...He is an opening batsman..even at the elections.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:06 AM

Begining of the end for Sana..

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 09:06 AM

Siiting in the bench of Mumbai indians more important than casting vote on the due date.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 07:52 AM

    surely uncertain of his victory

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:52 AM

He has been opening for the country. This time he has opened for his own destiny. Come on Sana

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:48 AM

No idea what he is going to do in the parliament.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:42 AM

Is it a world record ?

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:35 AM

is he representing SL.Y is he given special permission

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:32 AM

He should not have been allowed to do so. Sanath is not playing for his country. He is greedy after IPLoney

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:30 AM

What the big deal?We respect him as a cricketer but not as a politician.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:27 AM

Just stay in Matara, Mumbai Indians will not select you anyway. Join the gangsters and get ready to play dirty politics now.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:22 AM

If another candidate asks from opossion will EC act in this manner, 5 star democracy.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:13 AM

What IPL?He is not in the mumbai indians playing eleven.

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:09 AM

    Out for Duck .....................

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 08:04 AM

First MP to play in the world cup 2011 and 2015

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 07:54 AM

he is not a god to do like this. should be shame on himself

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 07:53 AM

Sana is out of IPL, why postal vote???

    Wednesday, 07 April 2010 07:53 AM

    Good luck, Sanath!
