    Roshan Tuesday, 10 August 2010 05:20 AM

This is all drama played by Sakvithi Ranasinghe , he has already hidden the money somewhere. He just wanted to say that he has no money to pay for the depositers and to be legally free with the help of so many loopholes in our law.

    kandy Tuesday, 10 August 2010 05:24 AM

    ayesha Tuesday, 10 August 2010 08:28 AM

kids are suffering for their parents sin. This is a good lesson to all who have children but still cheating other for their benefits. I am so worried about the kids. I am pretty sure they are not gonna come out from NCPA as they went in. sakvithi not destroyed others future but his own kids. he should pay for that.

    xlntgson Tuesday, 10 August 2010 10:46 AM

I'm also sick of the entire episode. We can't comment on a court's decision however the Children's protection authority should reveal what are such facilities available to low profile case victims' children. The children won't find the difference of hell and jail or the correction centre as in this case may be.

    Hisham Tuesday, 17 August 2010 05:37 AM

Children cannot and should not be punished for the parents mistakes. like someone said they should be handed over grand parents or immediate relatives, if not they will be emotionaly disturbed.

    Gunawathie Monday, 09 August 2010 11:15 AM

Not here and there, they should be sent to school !

    Citizen Monday, 09 August 2010 10:40 AM

He is a fool who can not manage the fraud money.

Edwardo Baltazar Monday, 09 August 2010 10:46 AM

The Central Bank authoritis should be put inside the jail instead of savithi....for turning a blind eye on to the transaction....

    Rahmathullah Monday, 09 August 2010 10:47 AM

That's why kids are given to NCPA. They will handover to the kids grandparents or another relative depending on the best interest of the kids

Jude Fernando Monday, 09 August 2010 11:23 AM

This is child abuse. You cannot remand children. What sort of democracy is this? This is absolutely wrong. Who had given orders to remand the two children 8 and 10? These authorities should to be punished immediately.
