It is a shame that majority of criminality is by the State. This is an unprecedented situation in the history of Sri Lanka.

What has happened to CCTV installed around Colombo at the cost of millions of rupees of tax payer's money? These type of incidents regularly take place in African countries, now happening in Sri Lanka.Inflation has given boost to crime as some people are looking to earn a fast buck and take a flight from the country.
It is better if police take stern action against preventing crime in this peaceful country and take a deep dive in the den of criminals.

I think it is time we invested in CCTV and DNA technology to investigate the crime that is mushrooming in Sri Lanka, a vast majority of them remain unsolved. Unless the culprits give themselves up, highly unlikely, this crime too would not be solved.
