How come the Chinese Engineers are able to identify and repair within a week using spare parts available locally while our engineers including the Minister who is also an engineer are unable to do anything and remain plain dumb?

Can we try and focus more on education, health, energy and economy pls? It is now or never. Maybe too late very soon. I hope i am wrong and my fears are unfounded though

Breakdowns do happen, however Mr. Minister please note that proper solutions need to be found in providing constant and regular supply of electricity, people are tired of listening to lame excuses. If something’s broken, well fix it and get on with it! If demand is up, you people need to plan and put more power stations up in that case, and please run them efficiently not until they breakdown. As a contingency, having a 150 ~ 250 MW backup plant that could feed the national grid will not hurt the economy as much as power cuts do, besides it allows proper maintenance of the other plants, when plants are rotated. Just do the math, I’m sure you’ll see it’s viable.

Why the need to consider continuing the power once the repairs are completed? He should stop thinking he's doing the public a favour by supplying uninterrupted electricity and remember it's his duty to do so.
