UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake escaped unhurt after he was involved in an accident near Induruwa when he was returning to Colombo after a meeting in Galle this afternoon.

MP Ravi Karunanayake speaking to Daily Mirror online stated that he was in good health and that he was not severely affected.

Ravi, at least his driver stopped avoided killing the child. as opposed to other who would have looked only about their personal safety.

Ravi do not worry you will be safe ,
Some people think you're useless but they do not know how much investments you have brought in during your regime, and how much revenue coming onto the country now due to that ,
I have not seen any other such investments for the last 5 years

I think you ppl shouldn’t be so rude. The child was not harmed,(It could have happened though). Its true that the MP is more than use less. But still he’s a human being, every life is valuable and think of his family who would suffer if his life was lost.

    kenny_fdo Sunday, 27 March 2011 10:36 AM

The drive should be commended for risking his life to save a small girls. if we consider our past experiences if it was another VIP we would be hearing about the death of the small girl.
