The 35-year old woman who was allegedly assaulted by a policeman at the Ratnapura bus stand today filed a fundamental rights violation petition today seeking Rs 50 million as compensation.
Petitioner W.A.Kanthilatha, who said she was a commercial sex worker cited Ratnapura Police Station OIC, SSP, Police Spokesperson and the IGP as Respondents. (S.S.Selvanayagam)
