The proposed constitutional changes might be to insure one of the rajapakse will head of the country

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 10:50 AM

why do you want to know ? was it there when you sign agreements with LTTE

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 11:07 AM

Ordinary UNP members are also in dark about the long proposed changes and reforms in UNP. MR is playing the same game what you play in UNP.

You should be transparent for your party constitution of the leadership for the UNP

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 11:35 AM

Where is your transparency when you were signing peace accord with LTTE ?? Atleast did your party member knew about the accord before signing ???

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 11:39 AM

You knw why he wants to know? This is what RW tried to do without a war. After winning the war why we need a change?

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 11:40 AM

Sad to see the comments. no one concern about the country. was it true that we all should know what changes the government intended to do?

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 11:56 AM

Whom are you representing ? The UNP, The Citizens or the LTTE ?

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 12:03 PM

We all will get to see it when the paper is ready and presented. This is something that no one can hide. Why is Ranil acting so ignorantly?

What are you going to do about it except make a very feeble protest and perhaps complain to the International community. Better just shut up and wait.

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 09:33 PM

This does not make sense. Is Ranil not aware that changes to the Constitution have to be debated and approved by Parliament, before they could be implemented?

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 09:52 PM

    Get lost, Ranil!

    Tuesday, 15 June 2010 10:38 PM

Ranil, have you forgotten what you did regarding the 'Ceasefire Agreement' with the LTTE - did you table it before Parliament? Now you urge 'transparency,' from MR, about the proposed reforms to the Constitution - what a joke!
