We should immediately cancel the preferential or manape system. One medical Dr. in UNP spent heavily on manape. She gave two bottles of distilled water and 1000 smackers each for a group of 3 who pledged the vote to her. No 2 on the list gave Rs. 500 each in small envelopes and Rs. 10,000 each for each estate Kankani who directed them.
