Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne’s residence at Hettimulla in Beruwala had been burgled last night and goods worth more than Rs.100,000 had been stolen, police said.
The security guard at the house lodged a complaint with the Beruwala Police today that some files, an I-pod and a tablet PC were among the stolen goods.
Police said most of the time the house was left unoccupied. (DS)
