beautiful, well concieved drama by DMK. to show the public that they are pro fishermen. how can they protest against the Indian government while they are a part of it?

These fisherman were arrested by Jaffna fisherman not the Navy....If India cares about Jaffna people they should stop fishing in SL waters.....

What about the hundreds of Sri Lankan fishermen arrested by the Indian coastguard? If you trespass on another country's territory anywhere in the world you will be arrested. These politicians trying to make a normal incident look like a political issue.

The fishermen were "arrested" for poaching in Sri Lankan waters, by the Sri Lankan fishermen and not the Navy or the government. Instead of protesting, these Tamil Nadu politicians must give some lessons to their fishermen not to poach in other countries' waters. If Sri Lankan fishermen do the same thing, obviously Tamil Nadu fellows will do the same. Cheap politics eyeing the soon to be held Elections.
