Premier hospitalized

Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne was admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital  last evening, and he is now receiving treatment at the Preliminary Care Unit (PCU) of the hospital.

According to hospital sources, the Prime Minister is due to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment.
Hospital Director Dr.Chandra Goonetilleke was not available for comment. (L.B.Senaratne)

    If anyone is ill, of course we don't invoke negative thoughts to that person. But I hate people who send get well messages to the people in power. Has this Lankakiwi ever thought of General Fonseka who has done immense to the nation but now suffer in a prison cell.
