A Sri Lankan housemaid in Kuwait who was expelled by her employer because of her bad behaviour went straight to the police and told them she was pregnant from him, a newspaper said on Wednesday.

Police quickly arrested the Kuwaiti employer but he insisted he had nothing to do with her pregnancy, Alwatan Arabic language daily said.

After interrogation and pressure on the maid, she finally confessed that she had an affair with an Asian man.

“They arrested the Asian man who also confessed to having an affair with the maid,” the paper said. (emirates247)

the pay rate is$100 per month, so how much does it cost to get her to change her story and find an equally stupid accomplice to support the claim? DNA test should be done.

Really Dr? I think it is the Arabs that tarnish the Middle east image. Also remember that you may well be living in some comfort due to the $$ these house maids bring into SL. Please do not be too hasty to blame these poor people.

There is always 2 sides to the story . These House maids are the most vulnerable of all ppl working in Arab Countries at the mercy of their system .

Should be more empethetic when trying to undertstand their lives .
