Main opposition UNP said it is not agreeable to postpone the election for the local bodies due to nomination issues. UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya made this point at a press conference today in response to a statement made by UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha that their party intends to file legal action against the rejection of its nomination lists in 30 local bodies which may result in a postponement. why not leave the elections to a side and consider the lap dogs as already "democratically" elected? of course a change in the constitution can be achieved at any time with deals.

If so when UNP made a blunder in CMC, the govt should have postponed the election. Cheap people cheap talk. They think they can move the wickets where they want.
