Why special only till end of NY. This is a very serious crime and should be very regular police task. Is it not a crime for DUI at other times. Miracle of Asia.

This is a very good decision to make law and order to the traffic and to prevent accidents occurring. especially after midnight parties they can take a cab back home. This has to be brought into law and order from now in action. I am a Sri Lankan living in one of the foreign countries and if you are found driving after liquor you have to pay a fine and you get a punishment to be in jail. I am writing this to the good will to our country people

LET US SEE IF ALL 175 ARE CHARGED AND PUNISHED ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF THE LAND. WILL THE STUPID POLITICIANS OF SRI LANKA GET INVOLVED TO SAVE THESE POTENTIAL MURDERERS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT WILL BE IF THEY KNOCKED DOWN AND KILL SOMEONE IN THAT DRUNK STATE.

Yes ppl can take a cab back home of those netted 59 three wheelers.... how to trust them? I say IF anyone is nabbed for DUI revoke their licence for 2 years... Driving is a Privilege NOT a luxury... One may be drunk and kill teh bread winner of a family... who is responsible?

This is the greatest opportunity to implement this , drunken driving should be fined next time license should be confiscated there on wards should be banned from driving. To implement this good governance should prevail in the country, hope no politicians are involved in order to maintain law and order strictly, hope and pray there is serious thoughts to this.
