Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today blamed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the watered down US resolution at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) against Sri Lanka last year.

Replying to a debate in the assembly, she said: “Last year, the US brought a strong resolution against Sri Lanka. The Indian government voted in favour of the resolution at my continued insistence.”

In support of her charge, Jayalalithaa said Manmohan Singh wrote to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa later: “You … would be aware that we spared no effort and were successful in introducing an element of balance in the language of the resolution.”
She said while the Sri Lankan government did not take any action even on the “watered down resolution, there is information that the US is bringing another resolution” against the island nation this year.

In the interests of Sri Lankan Tamils, the Indian government, based on the resolution passed by state assembly, should table a resolution on Sri Lanka at the UN and get it passed, Jayalalithaa added.

Blasting the “careless attitude” of the Indian government vis-a-vis Indian fishermen who she said were attacked by the Sri Lankan Navy, she urged the central government to take up the issue with Colombo.(IANS)

This woman needs to be sent to a slaughter house. What a stupid coolie woman. By the way the powerful Sikh lobby in the US are demanding the 1984 slaughter of the Sikhs in India as an act of Genocide by the Indian government and not a spontaneous act of violence against them as portrayed in Indian newspapers. This Jayalalitha will be forgotten if India is slapped with Genocide. The Sikh lobby states they have ample evidence that the attack upon them came from New Delhi to punish this community for the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh body guards. Sri Lanka along with Pakistan and China should condemn India for the act of whole scale genocide. Lets turn the tables on this holier than thou India.

Now any moron will understand if he/she got any gray matter inside their brains - all this resolution business occurred after SL govt defeated the most ruthless barbaric blood thirsty terrorist outfit in the world after 30 years of continuous bleeding. So we have to ask why and what are the reasons rather than squabbling of watering down issues. This type of most profoundly hopeless behavious from the so-called leaders of the world who have to be denounced in no uncertain terms. This shows this world is unredeemably corrupt with vengence.
